The World of Aeden
This page will be used to showcase selected parts of the Ways of Aeden.

Much of this material will be OGC (Open Gaming Content) which you may feel free to use within the boundaries of the OGL (open Gaming License) which can be found on my d20 Legals page.

Aeden Encyclopedia - Player's Version

In order to give you a sneak preview of content from the Ways of Aeden, I am making available the non-OGC Player's version of the Encyclopedia of Aeden. The GM version will be released when I finally get this stuff to be OGL/d20 License compliant.

Map of Aeden

This is a topographical map, so it only shows the height/depth of the land, not the climate, terrain type or anything else. The range of colours used goes from high to low and makes terrain go from grey -> brown -> pale green -> dark green. The aquatic regions go from light blue -> dark blue -> mauve -> purple.

Hintam Government Structure

Like any medieval city, the City of Hintam has an archaic, and at times confusing, structure. The following chart attempts to make clear this structure and to reveal the power blocs within the city's governing bodies.

Hintam Government Structure

Notes: 1. The Hintam Guards report both to the Sheriffs and the Justicars. 2. Justicars are appointed by the church of Danae, however the Chief Justicar must meet with the Prince's approval. 3. Hintam is divided into boroughs (mostly along city streets), each of which elects a Sheriff and a Councilor.
