Well 11 months on, and I'm finally updating the site again. This design is feeling very old now, so I expect to change it soon for something a lot sharper and more CSS aware.
Great news! I've opened Falkayn's Store over at Cafepress, with a bunch of my designs on T-shirts, mugs, caps and a whole lot more. Swing by and check out the gaming related merchandise, as well the IT geek stuff and a whole lot of Firefly/Serenity gear!

I have moved the website to a new web host, DotNetPark, which has some great hosting deals, and are very helpful!
The most immediate noticeable change is that the banner ads and popup ads are gone! I will be revising the site design over the coming months, but for now I'm just happy to be ad-free at last.

I have updated the T20 Starship Design Spreadsheet, the new version is 1.7. As usual it is available on the T20 Downloads page. Thanks to everyone that helped identify bugs in v1.6!

Wow, it's been more than a year since I've updated the site. Mostly that's been due to a slowdown in my gaming, friends being sent off to far ends of the earth, and too many PC games (go Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy!).
Recently a lot of people have pointed out some issues with the T20 Starship Design Spreadsheet, and some interesting mods to other sheets have come up. I will be posting those in the next week or so. Also, I've spent a lot of time creating spreadsheet tools for use with the Fields of Blood: The Book of War d20 supplement, so I'll be putting those up too.

Well, I've updated the basic Falkayn.com web pages with increased font size, as the Traveller pages already had. It just got too hard for these ol' eyes of mine to read my own web page!
While I'm about it, let me put in a plug for some good FREE Traveller fiction. Have a read of Friends In High Places by Leslie Bates at Freelance Traveller. It is very funny, and will explain those Ditzie references that keep popping up on the TML ...

A new map has been added to my Julian Protectorate section. It shows the political groupings of Julian Protectorate member states in the Amdukan sector. Various other bits and pieces have been added to other areas too.

Just some minor news - a link to the EN World Topsites list has been added to the voting area. Not much Star Wars happening, mainly because none of it is OGC, sci-fi fans do not despair because I am looking at the Traveller T20 rules with some interest!
I've also re-vamped the colours a bit, giving things a bit more life on my new LCD monitor.

OK, boys and girls ... things have fallen behind a bit, mainly because I've been disctracted from fantasy RPGs by some good old Star Wars (d20 of course)! I'll post some reviews in the coming weeks of Star Wars d20, Spycraft Lite and Fuzion (which I know is not d20, but I like it).
I got bitten by the sci-fi bug a few weeks ago, as you might have noticed by the news area on the right. Since then I've been reading some John Ringo books that Sluggy Freelance put me onto. So expect some more modern and sci-fi stuff from me over the next little bit.

The Sleeping Imperium UPDATED!
The Sleeping Imperium has disappeared as a website, but I have the d20 Skills-n-Feats Psionics and d20 Skills-n-Feats Martial Arts rules zipped up and ready to download in my Traveller Downloads area.
Ken Hood's not updating his d20 rules any more, but they are still available for download and are some of the best psionics, firearms, martial arts and alternate HP rules around.
Killa Campaigns NEW!
This is a great website to record character details and campaign information. A good help for running campaigns on the web.
3EProfiler
A well presented website that offers FREE character sheet hosting. A simple idea done very well. The character sheets are entirely manually created with no auto-calculation, but that of course means that you can use whatever house rules you like! A great place to store those characters that you might need at a moment's notice.
Dark Portal Games
I want to highlight these guys from amongst the other d20 publishers out there because of what they give back to the community. The release of their City of Gateway supplement as mostly OGC is really fantastic and very generous. Their website is well worth a look for that FREE content as well as the stuff they publish for profit.
Claudio Pozas' Art
Great artwork! I would highly recommend getting character portraits done by this guy as he is excellent at doing fantasy without making it seem silly.
Jamis Buck's RPG Generators
Great free online and downloadable generators and has links to even more! Good for generating characters, NPCs, items, treasures, etc.
RPGSheets for D&D 3rd Edition
The best place to find a character sheet. Very comprehensive list. The best are HeroForge (dynamic MS Excel sheet) and Ema's Character Sheets (PDF files with ALL spells/psi-powers listed).
Fantasy Netbook Community Council MODIFIED!
The FanCC host most of the Netbooks relating to D&D 3e. The Netbook of Feats is one of my favourites. A netbook is just a collection of material (mostly rules in this case) available in a downloadable format for perusal/printing at your leisure.
HeroForge
A great MS Excel character sheet program. It does not handle Prestige Classes yet but is otherwise excellent and very clear as to how it should be used.
Steve's 3E Character Spreadsheet
Another good MS Excel character sheet. It has a help file written by a user that makes the whole thing more user friendly than it would otherwise be.
